eVitabu sponsorship initiative

One of the Christian Organisations that we support as a Church is African Pastors Fellowship (APF). APF works alongside church and community leaders in Africa, training, equipping and resourcing the local church.

Throughout lockdown you will no doubt have seen many church leaders being filmed in their homes on zoom with a huge bookcase behind filled with commentaries and theological books. These are the tools many ministers need in order to do their job.

Sadly the reality is many local church leaders in Africa do not have access to such resources. This is why APF have created a unique mobile app called eVitabu that contains an entire library of text, audio and video resources. Through eVitabu, key ministry and training resources are being placed into the hands of African pastors for the first time. eVitabu can be installed to Android phones or tablets. The resources on eVitabu have been provided by academic institutions, development agencies, publishers and prominent Christian leaders and many are available in a range of languages.

During the 2020 lockdown APF developed an exciting new eVitabu sponsorship initiative, where an individual donor in the UK can sponsor an eVitabu user in Africa, receiving details of the user/s for mutual encouragement. It is just £5 per month to place a mobile library in the hands of a dedicated but under-resourced pastor in Africa. Just imagine being able to resource a pastor and a local church with the tools they need to deliver God's word, for just £5 a month. If you click the link below, it will give you more information and take you to where you can donate.
